Paolo Cogliati is an award winning Lead 3D Animator, Director and Artist currently freelancing in Manhattan, NY.
 

Past work includes creating and directing the multi-award winning short film Serial Taxi, animating on the Oscar-nominated feature film The BoxTrolls, and working on high end advertising for clients such as Psyop, The Mill, BUCK, Hornet, BNS, RGA, Framestore among many others, as well as working with international brands such as Coca Cola, Playstation, Amazon, GEICO, Netflix and more. 
 

Paolo has experience leading animation, including multiple commercials for The Mill on commercials such as Shick Hydro Robot 2.0, Country Crock Imagination , SeaWorld Mako Coaster and Bell Star Wars. 
 

His personal work has been featured on CGArtist Magazine, CartoonBrew and Vanity Fair among other publications viewable in the press section of this website. 
 

Originally from Rome, Italy, Paolo was awarded a merit-based greencard via the EB1A process. Holding both European and American work authorization.
 

Paolo attended Ringling College of Art and Design, graduating top 10 via the Best of Ringling selection, and attended Gobelins l’ecolee de l’image in Paris. He was trained as a generalist, but specialized as a character animator and previz artist.
