Carela : Sugar Proof Your Life

Glucose-conscious tea startup, CARELA – approached me for a CMO & Art Director role with the challenging task of turning the “ugly fruit” bitter melon into a visually palatable element to ease introduction into the American market.

As part of my role — I led the bottling re-design efforts with agency partner Flood Creative, in addition to directing a team of illustrators and 3D artists to create the first iteration of Carela’s digital entry to the market.

Additional roles included conceptualizing and designing the mascots, brand messaging, setting up a digital pipeline, recruiting talent, leading animation, managing print, social campaigns, and producing the 3D commercial in its entirety with a small team we recruited over the course of the first year.

The company later sold its formula, and merged with a foreign company.

Vibrant : USDC Sin Cupos Spot

I had the pleasure to Direct and Lead Production on the new Vibrant app spot, "Sin Cupos".

Vibrant is part of the Stellar Development Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 2014 to support the development and growth of the open-source Stellar network. SDF and Stellar seek to unlock the world’s economic potential by making money more fluid, markets more open, and people more empowered.

Role: Pitch, Direct, put together a team + pipeline to produce the entire spot with teams and clients across two continents.

Cosmos : HackAtom VI Promo

Cosmos, the internet of blockchains, is one of the world’s largest cryptocurrencies. It was an absolute pleasure to direct and lead production on their HackAtom promo video.
We had a tight turnaround to explore galaxies with Tendermint/Cosmos in time for their epic $1,000,000 prize pool announcement, but it was a blast!

Behind the Scenes : Serial Taxi

Color beats of the film, with help from James Cassettari.
